Classics Rebranded

In 2014, Dragon Digital approached me to help rebrand a large number of old EMI Classics CD-ROMs to new Warner branding.

Many of the original CD-ROMs had been built by different vendors having completely different software and structures. After exhaustive exploration of the original sofware, it became apparent that the original softwares could not be modified (and in some cases no longer ran on the latest verion of OS X) and instead had to be rebuilt from scratch.

Each CD-ROM is a simple program to launch a couple of PDF documents stored on the disc; a libretto and a booklet about the music. Taking the original artwork, I created a general template for each program, and developed a very efficient production pipeline for rapidly producing, testing, ISO conversion, check-suming a project, allowing me to quickly produce a working disc.
