Responsible for technical design/planning and construction of the Internet Games site, 9to5Cafe.com. Developed programs for the site including over ten different games in Java and Shockwave, a Java based chat system (client and server) and several database-driven website features using Cold Fusion and PHP, including a Highscore system for all the Web Games and an Ad Banner server. Monitored and maintained the Linux-based Apache webserver. Interviewed potential employees and trained new staff.

First Year Modules included: C++ programming, Computing Theory, Low Level Programming and Architecture, Discrete Mathematics, and a Project Leader on a group C++ programming project.
Spent Second Year on International Exchange at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Modules included: Advanced C++ programming, Data Structures, Java, Operating Systems and Compiler construction.
Third Year modules included Computer Graphics, Computer Networks, and a final Project "Collaborative Workspaces over the Web". The final system written in Java (as a client/server pair) featured a 3D virtual environment that multiple users could connect to, see, and work within that environment, talking to each other, and altering 3D objects (appearance, size, location), in real-time with other users.
